Cooks well, nice features, but there are some drawbacks
Purchased in July 09, I was excited about some of the features of this microwave/convection oven and for the nice look of it above our matching regular oven. The microwave part does a good job heating evenly, popping popcorn, etc. I do not use a microwave for cooking (I believe it kills the nutrients in the food), so I love that this has a traditional convection cook setting. The microwave, for me, is primarily used for reheating the occasional leftovers, coffee, etc. I have used the 'crisp' feature several times and it is just ok. It takes a long time and is a little more hassle than just using the broiler or toaster since you have to preheat the crisping pan before you use the feature. You don't have to keep as close an eye on it as a broiler, though, since it shuts off after the programmed amount of time.
