Two man job
Just finished slicing about 40 lbs of bacon. I started the project alone but found that the blade will actually pull your sliced product on the other side into the chamber with the motor to be flung out at you later. To prevent this you must grab your slices as they come out forcing you to take your eyes off the "business" end of a very dangerous piece of equipment. I enlisted a helper to catch the slices as they came out and we completed the project in a timely manner with all of our appendages intact. This equipment is also difficult to clean but I'm not sure there's one out there that isn't. Having said all that, we did go through 40 lbs of bacon slabs with plenty of power to accomplish the job.
