Its ok for the price, handle is a bit week and it heats slowly. Awkward to store also but not bad

I was given this fryer so I can't complain too much. I also own a Presto fryer that is 1800 watts and it keeps the temp much better than this one. While it works, it doesn't fry foods as quickly. This 1500 watt fryer costs about the same as the 1800 watts so I would recommend the higher wattage over this one.
